CYPS - Schools

North Yorkshire is the largest county in England with over 390 Schools spread across the county including Scarborough, Whitby, Harrogate, Ripon, Skipton and Selby. Within North Yorkshire there is an opportunity to work in a number of different education settings including Nurseries. Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Special Schools and Outdoor Education.

There are many exciting and varied roles in Schools, some of these include:

• After school club workers: Play Workers, Play Leaders, Instructors: Sports, Music and Language Assistants and Co-ordinators
• Office Managers, Bursars, Business Managers and Admin Officers.
• Technicians: Science and ICT
• Learning Mentors, Cover Supervisors, Technicians: Science and ICT and Higher Level Teaching Assistants
• Cooks, Kitchen assistants, Before and After School Club co-ordinators
• Nursery Teacher, Primary or Secondary Teacher or Teaching in a Specialist School

There are many different entry levels for these roles and lots of prospects to progress your career to new and challenging roles. There are opportunities to work with Children of all ages and abilities and to develop their skills and abilities to help them progress in life.
