Career: Substance Misuse Officer

Section: Youth Offending Team

Function:

Ensure that all young people supervised by the Youth Offending Team are assessed and treated for drug and alcohol problems with the aim of preventing and reducing offending. Provision of advice, guidance and support to members of staff within the YOT.

Entry Requirements:

A relevant professional qualification & experience of working directly with young people. Supervisory experience. SW, RMN, RGN, or other relevant qualification – youth work/counseling.
