Career: Birth Family Therapist (treatment foster care)

Section: Children's Social Care

Function:

Works directly with the birth families of the young people placed on the Treatment Fostering Project. Attempts to improve relationships and in certain appropriate situations facilitates rehabilitation home.

Entry Requirements:

Cert. in Systemic Family Psychotherapy & a professional qualification in DipSW, CPN, Clinical Psychology or other related profession & 4 years post qualification experience.
