Career: Children’s Residential Centre Group Leader

Function:

To take responsibility for the provision of quality residential care of children as directed by the Centre Manager and work within the statement of purpose of the centre. To deputise for the manager, in their absence, with the other group leader. To act as the senior professional person on nominated shifts. To participate in an out of hours on call rota.

Entry Requirements:

DipSW or equivalent or NVQ 4 and 2yrs experience in residential setting with young people in the last 5 years.

Training Options:

NVQ 4 in Management/Care.
