Career: Play Leader/Supervisor

Function:

To ensure the delivery of creative and appropriate play opportunities in a safe and caring environment, providing care for all the children. Oversee the planning and preparation of the programme of activities, ensuring required records are kept correctly. You will line manage a team of staff and have responsibility for managing a budget and maintaining the equipment and resources within that budget. You must ensure your setting works with and builds partnerships with parents, schools, local authority and other agencies.

Entry Requirements:

You must be qualified to level 3 or equivalent in play work, with broad experience of working in early years, childcare or play work.
