Career: Play Leaders

Function:

Provide stimulation to babies, children and young people during their hospital stay. The aim is to make the child’s hospital stay as welcoming and interesting as possible. The play leaders work alongside the healthcare assistants to provide distraction therapy during procedures and investigations.

Entry Requirements:

NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Training Options:

Play Intensivist Degree Course Access to nursing Nursing degree/diploma
