Function:

To be responsible for children’s services and neonatal services, leading the senior sisters, whilst supporting the role of the Divisional Lead Nurse. To provide professional nursing leadership to the team and work in close collaboration with the Directorate and Divisional Management Team. To take responsibility for the standard of the environment within Children’s and Neonatal services, ensuring sisters maintain cleanliness and good infection control practice.

Entry Requirements:

Registered and practising midwife Registered Nurse 997/8 or equivalent MSc/MA in midwifery/nursing or related subjects or working towards

Training Options:

Progress to Divisional Lead Nurse/Children’s Services Manager
